Bulang Ethnic Group
 

    Bulang ethnic group is one of the minorities inhabiting Xishuangbanna, numbering around 37,000 and making up 5.8% of the total. The Bulangs speak Bulang ethnic language, with no written form. They live mainly in Bulang mountainous area in Menghai county. Their houses are similar to the Dais', two-storeyed balustraded bamboo houses. 		 
¡¡As a result of the influence of the Dais over a long period of time, the Bulangs believe in Hinayana, with the Dais' culture interflowing into all aspects of their life.
