1.Located in Menglun town of Mengla county, Menglun botanical garden is only 75km from Jinghong. Buses leave Jinghong bus station for Menglun at 6:00 a.m., 7:20 a.m., 8:20 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on daily basis. Buses at Banna bus station in Jinghong leave at 12:20 p.m. and 1:20 p.m.. Passengers can also take Jinghong-Mengla buses leaving every 20 minutes in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. and every 30 minutes in the afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and then get out at Menglun town on the way.
Menglun botanical garden and Menglun town face each other across the Luosuo river. The garden has two gates in the east and west, the one in the east being the main entrance for both tourists and vehicles, the one in the west connected to Menglun town by a steel chain suspension for convenience of pedestrians' entrance into the garden in some 10 minutes. Both the town and the garden have some restaurants and hotels to cater to tourists needs.
There is a Green Rock park 4km away from Menglun town, a forest part integrating landscapes of a tropical forest, some unique mountain peaks, and numerous grotesque rocks. Around 10km to the east of Menglun town is the Emerald Screen Peak park, a limestone rainforest scenic region of grotesque rocks, water-eroded caves, and a tropical rainforest.
    2.Mangdian is around 21km away from Jinghong. No bus is available yet at present. Tourists can go there by taxi. Tax fares are negotiable with tax drivers.
    3.Xishuangbanna tropical floral garden is in Jinghong Xishuangbanna research institute for tropical crops. It opens daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It also sells flowers there, so you can choose some flowers you love.
    4."Looking-into-sky tree" tropical rainforest scenic area lies in Bubeng natural reserve at Yaoqu township, Mengla county, 19km away from the county seat, which is accessible from Jinghong and Xishuangbanna. From Jinghong bus station buses leave at 6:30 a.m., 7:20 a.m., 8:20 a.m., and 9:00 a.m. on daily basis; from Xishuangbanna bus station they leave every 20 minutes in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Then, buses at Mengla county bus station leaves for Yaoqu township at 8:30, a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and every hour for Mengban during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tourists can return to the county town by taking a Yaoqu-Mengla bus or a Mengban-Mengla bus. There is a grocery in the scenic area.
    5.Sanchahe forest park is about 40km from Jinghong. Tourists can take a Jinghong-Simao bus to the scenic area at Mengyang town. From Jinghong bus station buses leave at 6:30 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 7:40 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m; from Xishuangbanna bus station they leave every 30 minutes during the day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tourists can return to Jinghong by taking a Simao-Jinghong bus.
